Las Palmas – Giclée Art Print (Fabric Label by E. McKnight Kauffer)
Las Palmas is the Spanish word for palm trees. This gorgeous print was originally designed as a lithographic fabric label.
It’s one of an incredibly charming series designed by Edward McKnight Kauffer for Steinthal & Co. in Manchester between 1916 and 1926. The small, colourful labels were used for identifying bales of printed textiles destined for export - often to markets in South America, Africa, and Asia. The labels had printed fields "No", "Yds", and "Mts" to note number, yards, and metres.
We have lovingly transformed the original artwork into a giclee print - now available in a range of sizes on beautiful and sustainably sourced 200gsm matte fine art paper.
Choose the perfect size print for your space:
Small (A4) - 21 × 29.7 cm
Medium (A3) - 29.7 × 42 cm

Large (A1) - 59.4 × 84.1 cm
